Job Title: Multi-Skilled Surfacing Operative
We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Multi-Skilled Surfacing Operative to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic and hands-on environment, working as part of a surfacing gang to ensure high-quality results.
This is a role where you will need to work days or nights when required.
Key Mission Objectives!
* Perform a range of tasks within the surfacing gang, including operating Screws and Rake Hand.
* Preferred but not essential: drive a Paver and JCB confidently.
* Support the machine lay gang to ensure efficient operations.
* Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and meet quality standards.
* Promote and maintain principles of road surfacing within the civil engineering and highways sector.
* Adhere to and support Health & Safety Regulations
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Experience: Essential experience working within surfacing gang.
* Qualifications:
o NPORS tickets for any plant they can operate are preferred but not essential.
o Ability to operate plant machinery (e.g., Paver or JCB) is a plus.
* Flexibility: Willingness to work day or night shifts as required.
* Team Player: Strong collaboration and communication skills.
