Take away Manager
My client is looking for an experienced take away manager, They will
manage our takeaway and kitchen. The take away manager will be the primary
cook and also manage stock and staff.
Hours of work
Mon 09:00 – 14:00 16:30 – 20:30 - 1 hour lunch =10.5
Fri 09:00 – 14:00 16:30 – 20:30 - 1 hour lunch =10.5
Sat 09:00 – 14:00 16:30 – 20:30 - 1 hour lunch =10.5
Sun 09:00 – 15:00 - 1/2 hour lunch =5.5
37 hours per week with some flexibility to cover other days if required
Job Purpose
The Kitchen Manager role calls for teamwork and good collaboration between
kitchen and front of house teams to ensure continued delivery of a high quality,
professional catering operation combined with continuous business
improvement and growth.
The Kitchen Manager will be expected to work closely with the owner of Baked.
Key duties
1. Manage the Catering Service
Manage food safety on site and keeping records up to date
Manage Stock levels and advise owner of items requiring ordering
Ensure consistency of presentation and portion control.
Coach and support the team to produce all of Baked’s food range, and to cover
all areas of the rota.
Ensure that young people engaged in catering activity have a good knowledge
and understanding of their roles and duties, and that they are supported to
work to the required standard.
