What you’ll own Lead the development and execution of a strategic sales plan to secure new business and expand existing partnerships. Focused on local and global opportunities in working with verticalized SaaS, business platform and CRM clients. Develop a deep understanding of the payment market dynamics in the United Kingdom and across Europe, identifying commercial prospects and building an efficient pipeline in line with Worldpay’s global strategies. Create impactful sales presentations and lead the ideation, negotiation, and closing of partnership agreements that deliver real value and profitability to all sides of the partnership. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within the payments industry across both commercial and software disciplines. Includes becoming the face of the Payrix business in the UK market as you deliver keynote and panel addresses, attend industry forums and drive an effective brand presence on social media through LinkedIn and other platforms. Work with our creative and marketing teams to develop industry leading sales materials and oversee the creation of insight rich documentation for engaged partners and merchants. Act as executive sponsor for key partners to create joint plans, generate pipeline and drive opportunities to closure. Encourage and deliver detailed strategic partnership plan motions and outcomes. Monitors staff performance, works with employees to implement goals and document progress, approves incentive compensation calculations and works with Human Resources on employee related issues. Provides leadership for area of responsibility including planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development and mentoring. Responsible for activities involved in selling products and/or services, developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts. Participates in establishing financial goals, objectives and measurements to meet growth targets. Incorporates the development of annual and long-range sales plans, goals, strategies, incentive structures and objectives to achieve team goals and revenue objectives. Identifies critical market segments through extensive data driven market research, competitor analysis and recommends sales strategies for improvement. Participates in building, packaging and price setting with executive leadership, finance and governance teams to meet market needs. Monitors client survey results to ensure positive client relationships and satisfaction and responds to any negative criticism. Play a lead advocate role in working/steering groups to remedy. What you bring Minimum of 6 years solution focused business and partnership development experience in B2B environment Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Requires strong management, organizational, team building, coaching and mentoring skills. Ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure. Ability to identify, address and resolve employee related issues Requires strong business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices Requires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to show established track record of involvement in industry trade groups preferred Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations Analytical and data skills are required to determine client/business needs and requirements Travel at 25% will be required Worldpay perks - what we’ll bring for you We know it’s bigger than just your career.
