We are currently seeking a motivated Supply Teacher to join our network of secondary schools across South Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or a recent graduate with a passion for education, offering a variety of teaching opportunities in a range of subject areas. You will be covering short-term absences and providing high-quality teaching across different schools, helping students continue their learning journey. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality lessons to students across a range of subjects and year groups. Follow the lesson plans provided by the school and adapt where necessary. Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage student behaviour effectively. Support students in their learning, providing assistance and encouragement. Maintain communication with school staff and provide feedback as required. Manage and oversee student work, ensuring progress is made. Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and that all students are safe and well-supported. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching in secondary schools (ideally, but not essential). A passion for education and helping students reach their full potential. Strong classroom management skills. Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students and staff.
