Our team in Rotherham are looking for a Recovery Worker to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse client group. If you are an enthusiastic and creative individual and are passionate about changing people’s lives for the better, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will have your own caseload, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how we can help. You will develop plans with your clients to help them get their lives back to where they want them to be. This role requires a flexible and proactive approach to the position and working pattern to support individuals into treatment. This is an integral role for With You - as a frontline worker, you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, delivery of interventions and key work responsibilities. You will manage an active caseload of service users, connecting quickly with the people we support, treating them respectfully and with dignity.

There will be assessments to carry out and records you need to keep and update, that's all part of our professional commitment and service to our clients and commissioners.
This is a full time, permanent position with a salary of £23,821 - £31,672 per annum.

Required Skills
You will work as part of a team with the aims of:

5. keeping accurate and timely records of your contact with them
6. working effectively with other social care providers e.g. Housing, to cover all aspects of their successful recovery
7. continuously learning and reflecting to improve the outcomes for your clients
8. supporting your colleagues across the service to deliver excellent care
You will be a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. We’re looking for demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, ideally with those with substance misuse issues. You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a team to ensure a high quality service is maintained. A driving licence is desirable, but not essential, for this role. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with a positive and engaging approach to our service users and key stakeholders.
