Post Title: Trust Finance Assistant
Grade: 6 (SCP12-17)
Actual salary: £17,937 - £19,458
Reporting to: CEO, CFO
Conditions of Service: 27.5 hours per week, Term time only + 5 Training days (39 weeks)
Location: On site (in one of our schools, situated in the borough of Dudley) and remote working
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Finance Assistant to join our central team. The successful candidate will, under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, assist in the provision of a comprehensive financial support service to the trust by undertaking a range of financial, administrative and clerical support functions in line with the trust’s financial procedures. Main responsibilities of this role include:
* Being the first port of call for all incoming queries, verbal and in writing, and respond to these where appropriate or escalate these to the relevant colleague as necessary
* Proactively building, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the business
* Inputting of standing information to Trust’s Finance system (suppliers, debtors) in accordance with procedures
* Processing of Purchase Orders from requisitions, accurately and in accordance with agreed authorisation and timescales in accordance with procedures
The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge and experience:
* Knowledge of Financials and Procurement
* Purchase Ledger experience
* Experience of Finance Education
