Chef Hospice Band 3 Starting salary: £27,933 WTE unsocial hours enhancement pro rata per annum (based on 37.5 hours per week) (rising to Step 2 £28,998 WTE subject to satisfactory performance review) Pension Benefits Hours: 22.5 hours per week (over a 2-week rota including weekend working) We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our friendly, hard-working kitchen team. Our Chefs play an important role in delivering a high standard hospitality service to individual patients, visitors and staff within the Hospice. You will be involved in preparing meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and the supervision of staff and volunteers. Previous experience as a Chef, the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, together with good communication skills are essential for the role. Experience of working within a healthcare setting would be an advantage. You must also be prepared to work shift patterns which include weekends and bank holidays.
