At our Manchester Plant, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated, Site Maintenance Technician to join our Pampers manufacturing team. The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, daytime hours (typically 07:00 to 15:00). * Managing construction projects including writing work permits and supervising contractors in a variety of capital projects, with a key focus on excellence in safety and quality of execution.
* Supporting the facility team in the planned maintenance execution, defect-fixing and ownership of small capital projects to drive improvements on site
* Executing site facility maintenance as part of facility compliance programme, including supporting annual shut down activities.
* Planning project execution including liaising with suppliers to manage timelines and communicating progress to site
* Working with onsite partners (Operations Team, Safety, Quality) to ensure the requirements are compliant with the business needs.
* Participating in scope development, design reviews and costings for capital projects while supporting the overall project team with larger capital initiatives.

We are looking for individuals who have:
* Completed a time served apprenticeship (Mechanical or Electrical).
* IOSH and relevant Permit training (General work permit, working at height, confined space, construction, hot work).
* Experience and proven competency with sub-contractor management
* Good Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
* Technical mastery and good attention to detail
* Ability to work under own initiative
