18.5 hours per week We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual who loves working with young people to join our Neighbourhood team, working across the North of the town. You will be working at both MyPlace, a venue for young people in Middlesbrough, and also our Central Library. At MyPlace, you will undertake reception duties, greeting and signposting visitors, and service users and welcoming organisations to the centre. You will also assist with the day-to-day services and activities at MyPlace. This will include the preparation of rooms for meetings and helping with catering. You will be able to demonstrate that you have recent experience of serving customers of all ages from across the whole community, in a face-to-face environment and you will be an excellent communicator. You will need good IT and digital skills, enjoy working as part of a team, yet still be able to use your own initiative and be able to use our resources in order to answer the wide range of enquiries we receive. This role includes evening and weekend working, and the requirement to work at any library in Middlesbrough as requested.
