Join Our Technical Team at The Compleat Food Group We have a fantastic opportunity for a QA Supervisor to join our brilliant Technical team Based at our site in Milton Keynes, you will form part of an integral team carrying out technical and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Location: Milton Keynes Hours: 3 days on, 3 days off rotating shift pattern, 18:00-06:00 Salary: £35,000 per annum Your Duties Will Include: Support and assist with unannounced BRC and customer audit preparation and factory performance on the day, aiming to retain AA grade. Management of the pest control site visits and non-conformance close outs Supervise the QA / Technical team including co-ordinating rotas, responsibilities, and attendance. Working with production and the QA team to ensure paperwork is correct and traceability is maintained. Support customer visits from the Technical side of the business Continually train, coach and develop the production team and the QA operatives working in the factory on anything technically related Continually monitor shelf-life samples, to ensure the protection of the business and the end customer Co-ordinate micro analysis testing, trending, and performance Generate and record Technical KPI’s within agreed timescale and communicate internally Be the product quality ‘champion’ covering everything from specifications, quality and aesthetics of the product Experience: Previous experience of working in a QA role in food manufacturing environment Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene Level 3 HACCP Key Skills: Microbiology Strong attention to detail and accuracy, i.e. paperwork Must be able to communicate effectively across departments and work well with others Good English (written, verbal) and good basic numeracy Ability to work in an organized, methodical manner Good IT skills Ability to understand & apply the requirements stated by line manager of; current applicable food legislation, BRC Global Standard, and customer codes of practice Good analytical abilities Able to coach on procedures and process when non-conformance is identified Qualities Self-motivated Flexible attitude Positive attitude to challenges and change Benefits to Include: 2 Employee Volunteering Days per year Online and High-street retailer discount scheme and well-being portal Employee well-being and community support groups Charity Initiatives and Team events 24/7 Access to Grocery Aid The Compleat Food Group are proud to have built an inclusive and respectful culture where our colleagues feel safe, supported and valued.
