Imperial Recruitment Group are delighted to announce that we are working in partnership with Newcastle College who are recruiting for a Curriculum Leader of Digital Technologies on a permanent basis.

Provide support to the Head of Curriculum in the management of the section in order to ensure the section performance is aligned to College key performance indicators. Line manage direct reports to ensure high levels of performance within the curriculum area. Lead the implementation of industry standard and College requirements including quality, finance and health and safety.
Support the Head of Curriculum in ensuring effective leadership of aligned provision including, curriculum planning, development and delivery.
# Support the Head of Curriculum in College business planning and performance monitoring processes to contribute to the School growth and priority areas.
# Support the Head of Curriculum in liaising with the central Quality unit in all aspects of quality enhancement and self-assessment processes.
# Monitor provision against key performance indicators and benchmarks implementing improvement plans where necessary.
# Provide support and supervision for specific curriculum areas, ensuring high quality provision and the maximisation of both physical and human resources.
# Undertake line management of direct reports, such as programme leaders, lecturers, instructors and technicians ensuring full and effective communication across the Section.
# Contribute to HR processes such as recruitment and performance management of staff.
# Prepare and deliver high quality learning activities that drive learner progress.
# Management of Digital Apprenticeships (predominantly degree apprenticeships) and Higher Education Programmes to ensure high levels of performance and take responsibility for the apprenticeship journey from sign up to completion.
# Support the implementing and embedding of integrated systems to support business processes for apprenticeship delivery, from sign up to completion, ensuring full compliance across Newcastle College.
# Build a wide stakeholder base of employers throughout the North East and ensure that employer satisfaction with NCG apprenticeships is high through excellent service
Participate in any staff review/performance management processes involving the identifying and meeting of training needs for self and others.
# Comply with all NCG policies and procedures

Qualified teacher status.
If teaching on a higher education programme (Levels 4, 5, 6 or 7) must have or be actively working towards a qualification one level above.
Management qualification.
Experience of effective people and performance management.
Experience of change management and or implementing new initiatives.
Experience of building relationships with a range of internal stakeholders and external partners.
Experience of deploying learning technologies, tracking processes and use of college monitoring systems to support learners to achieve and progress.
Experience of curriculum design and innovation, planning, delivering, and assessing.
Experience and evidence of improving learner success and progression within education against Ofsted common inspection framework and or HE Quality Code.
