Situated within three acres of landscaped grounds, Priory Hospital Chelmsford is an independent hospital that specialises in the treatment and management of adults and adolescents with a range of mental health problems. There is a highly experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, which include consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and therapists.
The hospital offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 60 service users, as well as day care and outpatient services, including separate facilities for young people.
We provide expert treatment for the following services:
• Eating disorders
• Child and Adolescent Mental Health
• Addiction services

Job Advert Role Description
Our highly experienced multidisciplinary team deliver personalised treatment programmes alongside the use of a wide range of therapies.
Applicants will be required to:
• Support senior staff as part of the care and activities planning process, assisting with tests, exercises and examinations as directed
• Assists trained staff with the preparation, planning and delivery of group and one-to-one occupational, therapeutic and recreational activities; observing, record and reporting patient responses to the assigned clinician as appropriate. All clinical work to be observed or monitored
• Assists with the reception, orientation and induction of new patients ensuring they are comfortable and familiar with the environment and to impart essential information regarding emergency procedures
• Ensures the effective, timely and accurate updating of clinical records, case files and computerised information systems as directed while responding to routine enquiries and standard requests for information in accordance with policies and procedures
• Contributes to surveys, audits and clinical research projects assisting with the collection, analysis and presentation of data and information as directed
A good level of education up to ‘A’ level standard is required and a willingness to undergo some therapy training is desirable. Experience in working in a Mental Health setting would be an advantage
