What you'll do
THIS ROLE IS PRIMARILY HOMEBASED, BUT YOU WILL NEED TO BE IN THE STOKE OFFICE 1 DAY PER WEEK
The National Account Manager role is particularly unique in Vodafone Global Enterprise. Focused on managing existing large global enterprise customers, delivering best in class account management, ensuring erosion of existing revenue is minimised and revenue is optimised where possible, identifying and exploiting whitespace to grow your portfolio of accounts. This role requires building relationships, awareness, and trust across your accounts and working effectively across both UK and global stakeholders to realise account strategy/development plans.
This role will also require you to work closely with our Product, Solution Sales, Legal and Commercial teams to deliver bespoke and off-the-shelf solutions to customers.
Key accountabilities:
* Actively pursue new opportunities and build new customer relationships.
* Acquire a minimum number of key contacts as defined and agreed within your sales plan through an agreed outbound contact strategy.
* Develop a comprehensive sales plan through effective landscaping to efficiently and effectively identify, qualify, propose, negotiate & close sales opportunities across the Vodafone portfolio.
* Identify & manage customer requirements needed to complete proposals &/or contracts.
* Deliver a "best in class" customer experience in all interactions & dealings with prospective clients.
* Work on large, multi-national accounts.
* Build & manage Sales pipeline to ensure a minimum of 4x Sales target.
* Ensure all sales opportunities are recorded and progressed using all of the tools available to you, in an accurate & efficient manner, through Vodafone's CRM system.

* Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a B2B, complex sales environment.
* Proven ability to target accounts and use techniques such as MEDDIC / Solutions Selling to uncover true needs and decision-makers to progress opportunities through the sales funnel.
* Forecasting and reporting skills.
* 2-year Public Sector /Local MNC experience.
