We’re currently recruiting for a Transport Coordinator to be based at our customer site in Nottingham, on our contract with Ibstock. As part of this busy transport operation, you’ll ensure the timely and safe dispatch of drivers across Monday - Friday. With a team of drivers and units, this team will grow as the site develops. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £26,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day: To cost effectively plan and dispatch routes where required to achieve contractual delivery times Distribute Ibstock volume to Core Fleet and Subcontract Haulier Partners To liaise with external suppliers to ensure the effective use of hire vehicles / sub-contractors minimising the cost impact to the business Ensures that appropriate communication methods are used to provide information to both internal and external customers as required e.g. debrief of drivers, dealing with customer issues etc. Ensure that all vehicle inspections/MOT/Services are planned and completed.
