The Regional Operations Centre (ROC) ensures an effective and coordinated response to a range of dynamic challenges, including supporting the operational delivery of the winter preparedness process, coordinating restoration, and general system pressures as they arise. The team is pivotal in the overall coordination and leadership of the daily UEC operational demands, leading system coordination working closely with ICB, SCC, and National colleagues to ensure an accurate picture of demand and timely resolution of issues.
This role requires taking part in a 5 day over 7 days working pattern; this will include weekends and bank holiday working, this working pattern is in operation 12 months of the year.
Main duties of the job
As Project Support, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering support against a number of projects. The post holder will support appropriate leads to ensure that any projects aligned to the Regional Operations Centre are planned and managed effectively to ensure successful delivery. The role supports the Regional Operations Centre and wider team in driving transformation across a number of supporting functions, and other Cells that are key to supporting the Region in delivery of its overarching priorities.

Qualifications
* Educated to Degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
Knowledge
* Previously worked in a similar position within the public sector.
* Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management, or information analysis.
* Commitment to continuing professional development.
Skills and capabilities
* Intermediate proficiency with Office 365 software (particularly Excel and Outlook).
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to re-prioritise.
