As Data Test Analyst you will join the Testing department at OSB Group, which currently has c60 staff in the UK and India and you will report into the Data Test Manager. This is a brand new role that will undertakes data test planning & execution activity across OSB Group systems that are subject to development & change. As Data Test Analyst you will work under the direction of the Data Test Lead/Manager and work with the internal Data development & client teams, adhering to Data Test Quality processes & policies, to design and execute test to validate the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data across various systems and databases. Your responsibilities will include: Develop tailored test plans, cases, and scripts for data validation whilst collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to resolve data issues. Document test plans, results, reports and presenting data test findings, metrics, communicating test progress, risks, and issues to senior team members Working with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and validate data accuracy. Conducting data mapping and integration testing to ensure seamless data flow between systems. Writing complex & structured SQL queries to interrogate databases Identifying, documenting and managing data-related defects using a defect tracking system With a number of exciting opportunities in this role, you will be part of the transformation project which will create a new operating platform for the business. We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below: Previous experience as a Data Test Analyst or related role with experience of data testing concepts and methodologies Proficiency designing and executing data tests and validation Strong analytical and reporting skills to identify and analyse data Knowledge and experience of writing SQL queries and data/database interrogation and manipulation Understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks, including knowledge of manual and automated testing processes Experience in in managing and tracking data-related defects including system integration, regression testing, and user acceptance testing We also believe that your career and how you progress is as unique as your individual personality.
