Description This is a 12 month FTC Applications from existing employees are encouraged, this would be on a secondment basis in agreement with existing line managers To proactively support and collaborate with the People team in the day-to-day delivery of effective and efficient administrative support in respect of the employee lifecycle, so that process and workflows run effectively and to required timeframes. The People Coordinator will operate in a mode of continuous improvement, identify and suggest recommendations, and implement agreed changes which enhance the efficiency of the People processes and the employee experience. Key Responsibilities Responsible for actioning the administration of all people processes across the employee life cycle including, but not limited to, new starters, contractual changes, leavers, absence and references in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with required deadlines and SLAs Management of the HR mailbox ensuring timely and professional responses in line with AirTanker policies and procedures, escalating and delegating to colleagues where required Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all employee records on the HRIS system, ensuring compliance with UK data protection legislation Provide support to the Payroll team by ensuring the provision of all necessary data on starters, leavers, changes, absence etc, before payroll cut off Responsible for the day-to-day management of all employee benefit administration, including raising Purchase Orders Support the People Advisors and People Partners with employee relations casework by arranging meetings and notetaking as required Work with the Reward and People Operations Manager on the annual reward process, to ensure a coordinated and timely approach For a full list of key responsibilities, please refer to the Role Profile attached. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Membership of or studying CIPD qualification or relevant experience Significant experience working in a similar demanding administrative role, preferably within a People team In-depth experience of using and maintaining HR information systems Experience in efficiently managing multiple and/or high-volume mailboxes Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, diplomacy and professionalism when dealing with confidential personal information Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change/competing deadlines and re-prioritise as needed in order to maximise outputs and customer satisfaction Some knowledge of employment law and application of employment policy and procedure would be desirable For a full list of skills, knowledge & expertise, please refer to the Role Profile attached.
