Leighton Park School is seeking an inspirational and experienced teacher to lead our highly successful and popular Biology Department from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious individual to take on a leadership role in a thriving department, delivering Biology across KS3, KS4, A Level, and the IB Diploma Programme.
As Head of Biology, you will provide vision and leadership, fostering an engaging and innovative learning environment. You will inspire and support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential and be confident in integrating ICT into Biology teaching. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and teaching strategies and will play an active role in the school’s Co-Curricular programme.
Leighton Park won Senior School of the Year in the Independent Schools Association Awards 2023-24, and this year won the national award for Future Readiness, recognising the doing the most to prepare students for a fast-changing world.
