We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in St. Helens to assist with the appointment of an Events Manager, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £20.34 - £25.57 per Hour
Responsibilities:
* Lead on all aspects of the development and implementation of the St Helens Christmas events, specifically plans, projects, policies, systems, processes and programmes which support the achievement of directorate and organisational aims and objectives.
* Lead contract and financial management of all event related activity, including procurement, contract management of supplier contracts and income generation.
* Liaise with key stakeholders including key partners, community organisations as well as wider support services to ensure effective and safe event management.
* Complete all relevant event documentation including Event Management Plan and ensure the timely completion of risk assessments.
* Undertake all elements of the project management cycle as appropriate from initial scoping and business case, to project initiation, delivery, evaluation and lessons learnt.
