If you are successful in this role, you will become a member of our dedicated department responsible for processing and managing payments following the settlement of our clients' personal injury claims. The department operates on a task-based structure, meaning you won't have a fixed responsibility for a specific number of cases; instead, you will be part of a collaborative taskforce.
Responsibilities:
1. Review new files to assess where payments need to be allocated
2. Process payments promptly once funds have been received
3. Actively follow up on outstanding payments
4. Efficiently manage and advance the cases you evaluate
5. Keep clients updated on the status of their payments when necessary
6. You will have the chance to grow in this role and gain exposure to more intricate files, leading to complex payments, accounting problem-solving, and enhancing your technical knowledge of costs

Full training will be provided for the role, so prior accounts experience is not essential.

Additional Information
You will be based in Ty Admiral in Cardiff City Centre, working core hours of 37.5 per week (part-time applications may apply). The role aligns with our Smart Working model, meaning your weeks will be split both at home and in the office (minimum 1 day a week). For any new starters, there is a minimum requirement of 1 month in-office training which will include your in-person induction and buddying with your new team. This may be extended to 3 months where necessary.
