Purpose of the role:
The role of the Regional Performance Manager plays a vital part of delivering results, compliance, and completion within our new retail performance team.
You will lead, develop, coach your field merchandisers to execute the retail plan to meet the needs of the customer, driving sales, profitability, and compliance.
The role will utilise all available data to make strategic and commercial decisions to maximise coverage, results, and compliance across the retail estate for all our customers.
You will be accountable for driving the use of data across your regional team to ensure we are operating efficiently.
At the heart of everything that we do is our customers, you need to ensure that every decision that is made delivers outstanding customer service, through effective leadership and continuous improvement.
You will ensure that your team are operating in line with all company's standards, policies and procedures whilst demonstrating the businesses three key behaviours.
You will be an instrumental lead within the business and be accountable for delivering and executing the business strategy for your region.
Responsibilities of the role:
Key Areas:
* Utilise the data provided to ensure all key decisions are backed with numbers where possible.
* Understand how to present data and to use it to maximise efficiencies in your region's ways of working.
* Adopt and implement the ways of working and processes as set out by the Head of Retail Performance with the new “One Team” structure in the field.
* Be accountable for delivering the strategic plan for your Region ensuring we are future focussed and developing the right skills and data tools to maintain delivery at a high level.
* Implement and maintain operating standards and principles across the region to maximise results.
* Delivering consistency and always seek to improve our service to internal and external customers.
* Accountable for delivering the hours model within budget on a weekly basis.
* Delivery of all KPI's, through effective planning, by supporting and coaching individuals to meet business targets.
* Assess and review performance, providing effective action planning with the teams in order to deliver continuous improvement.
* When required to, deputise for the Head of Retail Performance.
* Weekend and bank holiday working as required to suit business needs.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Experienced leader within the Retail Environment
* Results Focussed – proven record of delivering results.
* Can demonstrate that you use data to drive results and performance.
* Can execute and deliver a strategic plan.
* Ability to communicate and influence others and at all levels.
* Can deliver cultural change through a remote team.
* Ability to multitask and drive a One Team Approach
* Ability to embed an agreed process and ways of working through others to maximise effectiveness.
* Have an ability to upskill and develop people within your team through identifying talent using data and training and coaching to become future talent.
* Demonstrate a level of commercial acumen so that you can be P&L aware of key drivers that can deliver better efficiencies.
