The client is a leading provider of sustainable supply chain solutions for industry across the globe.
They are looking to hire a Site Manager for their plant in Wakefield where you are responsible for the operational aspects of the plants and its P&L. They are looking for a candidate which can keep operational costs low, delivering value for the business and Improve efficiencies and ensure all KPI’s are met.
Responsibilities
Ensuring Health & Safety compliance at site in accordance with company policies.
Building effective teams by providing support, facilitating effective performance management, cultivating a positive culture and working environment, and driving business initiatives.
Translating Supply Chain & Operations and other functional business strategies into operational goals with visible metrics.
Accountability for delivering operational requirements.
Managing annual budgets and/or capital investment/project plans, monitoring and controlling all expenses and operational costs for warehouse functions.
Cultivating and installing a culture of Team Member Service Centre Safety. Drive and implement all pertinent internal safety standards and processes, develop safety inspections and audits, and promote safety goals and awareness with the Team.
Maintaining a safe working environment. Recognise our customers and our commitment to safety, pride and quality work. Assist in maintaining a safe and injury free work environment for Team Members and anyone visiting and/or working at our facilities.
Demonstrating an understanding of Food Safety and support the Food Safety Management System in all assigned Service Centres.
Ensuring appropriate Food Safety ISO practices and processes are maintained and customer service expectations are achieved.
Looking for operational synergies and continuous improvement.
Manage the receipt, handling, distribution, and storage of all Tosca products and suppliers own equipment that come in and out the depot.
Ensure all orders are shipped to customers in timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules within operational capacity.
Communicate all delays or variances in inbound/outbound to the appropriate parties.
Audit of daily Ready For Use stock, and weekly of all good’s and report to planning team..
Plan warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimisation.
Maintain high standard of housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area and be a good neighbour.
