Lead Our Electrical Distribution Network Projects We're searching for a skilled Senior Jointer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee mains and service cable jointing on electrical distribution networks, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency are maintained at all times. Main Responsibilities Perform mains and service cable jointing on electrical distribution networks (DNO and iDNO). Supervise Jointers Mates with finesse, providing immediate guidance and support. Assist in the training of fellow team members, sharing your expertise to elevate skillsets. Hold relevant DNO/IDNO authorisations to work on 3PH distribution networks. Ensure strict adherence to job requirements and safety protocols for you and your team. Take personal ownership of health and safety responsibilities, ensuring PPE is worn diligently. Demonstrate versatility by working independently or seamlessly within a team setting. Approach customers with confidence and diplomacy, delivering exceptional service at all times. Conduct risk assessments and uphold safe working practices to the highest standards. What we need from you Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent street lighting and LV services training. Electrical expertise to C & G 236 Parts 1 & 2 / 2330 Level 1 & 2, or equivalent, backed by extensive trade experience. 18th edition BS7671 wiring regs qualification. Previous Full G39 qualification. Current NRSWA Accreditation. Current First Aid and Manual Handling certificates. Authorisation to carry out 3PH UG connections to DNO/IDNO networks. Understanding of operational and 1:500 electrical network diagrams. CSCS accreditation. A valid driving licence. It would be great if you have Experience driving both general and specialist vehicles relevant to the role.
