Role Overview As an Account Handler, you will be the key point of contact for clients, assisting them with their insurance needs and ensuring their policies are tailored to their specific risks. You will work closely with Account Executives, insurers, and clients, managing the day-to-day administration of property and corporate insurance accounts. Key Responsibilities Client Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with property and corporate clients, delivering excellent customer service. Policy Administration: Manage the end-to-end process of policy renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business applications. Risk Assessment: Understand clients risks and requirements, ensuring that appropriate insurance cover is provided. Market Liaison: Obtain quotations from insurers, negotiate terms, and present the most suitable options to clients. Claims Support: Assist clients with the claims process, providing advice and liaising with insurers to ensure efficient resolution. Documentation: Prepare accurate and compliant documentation, including reports, summaries, and presentations for clients. Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to FCA regulations and company policies. Team Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives and other team members to provide seamless support and meet client needs. Requirements Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in an account handling role within the insurance industry, preferably in property or corporate insurance. Education: Cert CII qualification or working towards it is preferred. Skills: Strong knowledge of property and corporate insurance products. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
