Responsibilities
* Performs a wide variety of general and semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical.
* Ensures all repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
* Demonstrates superior customer service.
* Ability to identify, diagnose, and fix a variety of maintenance issues and notify management when a licensed professional is needed.
* Loading and unloading building materials and tools.
* Being compliant with all health and safety regulations.
* Following instructions and completing work orders online.
* Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced.
* Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs.
* Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs.
* Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks.
* Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications
* 2 years experience in repairs and maintenance preferred.
* Skilled in maintenance activities such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical.
* Ability to work independently and with other team members.
* Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues.
* Desire to provide excellent customer service.
* A sense of pride in your work.
* Ability to communicate well with people.
* Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
* Physical requirements include frequent need to lift and carry heavy objects.
* Part of the on-call rotation.
* Must have own tools.
* Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
* Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends.
* Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic.
* Has high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
* Over 2 years of maintenance experience.
Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly
