An exciting opportunity for a Junior Buyer/Purchasing Specialist to join a well-established manufacturing organization based in Watford with a salary up to £30,000. The Junior Buyer will sit in the purchasing department with excellent progression opportunities.
Candidates who have had previous experience within purchasing, procurement, or supply chain and are keen to progress in their career will be well suited for this role.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Processing and purchasing orders
2. Preparing and updating costing sheets
3. Developing and strengthening relationships with suppliers and internal departments
4. Handling ad hoc administrative tasks to assist the Purchasing team
5. Collecting and collating test certificates and other compliance documents from factories
Person Specifications:
1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
3. Previous experience in a similar role or in a purchasing environment is an advantage
Salary: £30k
Requires: 100% on-site presence
