Job Description:
Nottingham Trent House (95002), United Kingdom, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
About the role
Our business is embarking on a large multi-year Finance ERP transformation programme. The UK business forms one of these projects, and we are looking for a UK Finance Project Manager to join this programme. You will ensure both UK finance and business requirements are embedded into the programme, and then manage delivery against these requirements.
What you’ll do
1. Engage with stakeholders to define functional requirements across UK finance and the broader UK business. Determine the second-order impacts on the UK business.
2. Establish success parameters with all stakeholders, including executive sponsors.
3. Create a project plan that connects all relevant stakeholders and SMEs to deliver on the requirements.
4. Establish UK project governance, reporting, controls, and support enterprise-level reporting.
5. Monitor project progress proactively, resolve issues, manage risks, and keep key stakeholders informed. Report progress to UK CFO and UK executives.
6. Manage communications with stakeholder groups across the UK and Enterprise, including third parties where applicable.
7. Build and leverage a network of experts in systems and processes.
What we are looking for
1. Experience delivering finance projects as part of large multi-million-pound, multi-year programmes, ideally involving ERP system migrations.
2. Technical project management skills.
3. Experience working in large multinational corporate environments, managing diverse stakeholders across all levels and time zones.
4. High emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills.
5. Ability to quickly develop technical and business understanding to ensure requirements are met.
Where and how you'll work
This is a permanent position based in Nottingham. We offer a hybrid working model, with flexibility to work from the office and home. You will be in the Nottingham office three days a week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
What’s in it for you
1. Contribute to a transformative organization, rewarded with a meaningful role.
2. Opportunities for career progression, supported by Capital One University and external training providers.
3. Access to benefits such as pension, bonus, holiday entitlement, private medical insurance, and flexible benefits like season-ticket loans, cycle-to-work scheme, and parental leave.
4. Work in inspiring environments, including Nottingham head-office with amenities or London with a rooftop track and café.
