Are you a talented B2B Strategist looking for a new opportunity? Our client is looking to grow their Strategy team. Based in Aberdeen they are offering a salary up to £50,000 per annum. This is an opportunity for the right person to apply their B2B marketing knowledge, curiosity and creativity while working on strategically important projects for major international B2B clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting and enabling our clients to achieve their strategic goals to “own their space”
2. Being a gatekeeper of the company’s strategic quality throughout project and account lifecycles
3. Conducting qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to identify prospective brand positioning traits in the context of market trends, opportunities, and challenges
4. Transforming raw data into meaningful insights, whether written, verbal or other, complete with supporting evidence
5. Facilitating brand strategy sessions with client leadership to obtain relevant information and build consensus and support
6. Supporting or leading in Strategy presentation sessions
7. Being a robust defender of the agency’s values, people and commercial interests
8. Working closely with Strategy and Creative colleagues to:Support in the development and presentation of unique and original insights that succinctly defines the client’s business / brandCraft brand architecture, positioning and differentiation strategiesWrite compelling brand narrativesCreate brand guidelines and go-to-market activation plans that define the client’s voice both online and offline
What about you:
9. B2B marketing communications experience and knowledge, preferably from an agency setting
10. Experience in developing branding and marketing strategies for clients or B2B organisations
11. Presentation skills experience, both written and in person as well as executive facilitation skills
12. A deep interest in data gathering, interpretation, analysis and presentation
13. A creative bent: the imagination and skills to draft briefs that reflect the agreed positioning to get the very best out of the creative teams.
14. Effective customer and stakeholder relationship management skills, including active listening, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and cultivate positive client relationships based on trust
15. Positively represent the companies brand globally
16. A commitment to adhere to predictable delivery schedules
17. The confident ability to respectfully challenge both clients and colleagues when necessary and with the goal of delivering the best possible outcome for all
18. Strong written and verbal professional communication skills
19. Bachelors’ Degree qualified (ideally in strategy, communications, public relations, marketing communications, business management, linguistics, or a related subject) or equivalent professional experience
