Location: Cardiff
Hours: 37.5 hours a week | 5 days Office based role in Cardiff
Shift Patterns: Monday- Thursday 8.30am -5.00pm | Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm

Our client, a national leader in the fashion retail sector, is looking for an IT Project Manager to join their projects team at the Cardiff Head Office within the IT department. The role is to assist in the planning, designing, and developing efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes.

Job Responsibilities
* Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
* Document existing and new systems showing details of processes, decision points, information and data flow, and any connections to other systems including data entry or exit points.
* Provide coherent information to decision makers in the business regarding the viability and practicability of potential business systems.
* Investigate potential solutions for identified business issues taking costs and business benefits into account.
* Negotiate and control costs for business solutions with external suppliers to provide the best possible cost benefits to the business.
* Manage and control the implementation of business systems utilizing internal and external resources.
* Provide support to the business in relevant areas, including training users, allocating resources, and resolving problems.
* Produce functional specifications for 3rd parties.
* Plan and control delivery of business projects to agreed timelines.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Understanding of Retail business and processes.
* Methodical approach to finding solutions.
* Logical thinking skills.
* Capability to handle a variety of different work subjects.
* Responsibility for own work stream.
* Adaptability to changing requirements and deadlines.
Training in the key areas will be provided, but the successful candidate will have to prove literacy, numeracy, and integrity. A keyboard/software skills test may be part of the interview process.
