We are looking for a Senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to join our infrastructure team.
What you'll do:
1. Support HSW Business Plan and OU strategy implementation.
2. Lead the development and execution of HSW sector strategy.
3. Coordinate HSW tender submissions with the team.
4. Ensure best practices are shared and implemented.
5. Participate in industry groups as needed.
6. Maintain industry accreditations and certifications.
7. Mentor and develop Highways & Water HSW teams, providing technical advice.
What you'll bring to the role:
1. Experienced line manager, especially in leading leaders.
2. Level 5 qualification or higher in health, safety, and wellbeing (Diploma/Degree/NVQ).
3. Chartered membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) or working towards it.
4. Strong understanding of health, safety, wellbeing principles, and effective management techniques.
