Job purpose
We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Private Client Tax team in Bristol
This role will provide tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of private clients - individuals, trusts, private companies and family offices.,
Key Responsibilities
As A Private client tax assistant manger, your responsibilities will include among others
1. Responsible for a portfolio of clients which may including sole traders, partners, HNWIs, non UK domiciliaries, non UK residents, partnerships and trusts
2. Identifying possible advisory possibilities and opportunities for the clients
3. Give exceptional client service and be responsible for maintaining regular contact with client team
4. Acute awareness of what other parts of the firm can do to encourage cross-referrals
5. Ensuring Evelyn Partners procedures are followed taking account of institute and HMRC guidance, where relevant
6. Ensuring department KPIs are met around chargeable hours, billing and recovery targets
Qualifications
Key Competencies:
7. Must be able to plan workload in order to prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines and cope with pressure.
8. Good written communication skills are necessary to draft correspondence with clients and HMRC to explain technical issues in an easily understandable manner.
9. Must have good inter-personal skills to be able to liaise with clients and other staff members.
10. Meeting deadlines and responding to client needs.
11. Provide link in chain to supervise staff members and support Directors.
Education and Qualifications:
12. ACA/ CTA or equivalent qualification.
Experience and Skills:
13. Experience gained within a professional services firm.
14. Good knowledge of personal tax compliance and ideally some exposure to planning/advisory work.
