Supply Chain Manager
Location: Hybrid - 1 day per week in Solihull, 2 days per month in Gloucester
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities of a Supply Chain Manager:
1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
2. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
3. Oversee inventory management, demand planning, and procurement processes.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
5. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
7. Identify risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Key Skills of a Supply Chain Manager:
1. Strong experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement.
2. Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
4. Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote setup while maintaining strong communication with teams.
5. Knowledge of best practices in inventory control, demand planning, and logistics.
