About The Role
Morrison Energy Services is recruiting for an Office Administrator to work on our UKPN & SSEN contracts based in Stevenage. We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented Office Administrator to support the delivery of contracts within our operations. This role involves a range of administrative and coordination tasks, from facilitating meetings and supporting document control, to providing operational assistance to all sites.
As an Office Administrator your key responsibilities will include:
1. Assist with the coordination of contract-related meetings, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and managing logistics such as venue selection.
2. Manage the distribution and control of important documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to all relevant stakeholders, including site teams.
3. Provide administrative support for various operational activities, including site setups and vehicle collection for the contract.
4. Act as the first point of contact for all stakeholders, including visitors, and external partners, providing a professional and welcoming response via phone and in-person.
5. Assist with the onboarding of new employees.
6. Oversee the ordering and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for new starters and manage stock levels to ensure availability as required.
7. Coordinate the allocation and distribution of vehicles used on the contract, ensuring proper records are maintained.
8. Assist with operational setup activities at new sites, ensuring that all administrative requirements are met for a smooth launch.
9. Weekly timesheet compilation and administration.
10. Production, tracking and submission of Health and Safety / site handover files.
11. Maintain and replenish stationery supplies within the office.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements
1. Strong verbal, written, and communication skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
2. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
3. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to create and manage documents and reports.
4. Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Proven experience in administrative roles, with strong knowledge of office procedures and document management.
6. A team player with the ability to address stakeholder needs promptly and professionally.
