Our client, a growing, highly successful FMCG business, has an exciting Warehouse Manager opportunity where you will be responsible for both leading and modernising a busy WH function - managing day-to-day operations and logistics whilst also supporting the implementation of new processes and a modern WMS and contributing ideas to the reorganisation and layout of the warehouse. You will also be responsible for managing a team of drivers and operatives - motivating, developing, and training people whilst reinforcing the customer-focused culture.
As a Warehouse Manager, your new role will involve:
1. Ensuring efficiency and accuracy in processes such as inventory management, goods in and goods out
2. Ensuring that all goods are delivered on time and in full to customers
3. Improving inventory management and operations with the implementation of a new WMS
4. Managing logistics and ensuring the successful delivery of goods
5. Analysing current processes and identifying areas of improvement
6. Contributing to the implementation of new processes and solutions to improve efficiency
7. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
8. Leading, motivating, and training your team to ensure high performance
I am interested in talking to candidates who have experience working as a Warehouse Manager, Logistics Manager, Stores Manager, or Warehouse Operations Manager within an FMCG, retail, or wholesale business.
Salary for this opportunity is c. £40,000 to £45,000 p.a. (depending on level of experience).
