The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Teacher of Media Studies to join this Catholic 11 – 18 comprehensive school judged “Good” by Ofsted in October 2022 and “Outstanding” by the Archdiocese of Southwark in 2019.

We are seeking a talented individual to deliver high quality Media Studies lessons across all key stages and to support other curriculum areas where appropriate. The successful candidate will be expected to provide excellent pastoral care to all students. This post would be suitable for a newly-qualified teacher.
We are looking for a teacher with a genuine passion for the creative arts, to inspire and guide students in film-making, photography and podcasts. Our new, state-of-the-art creative media suite includes:
· Green screen
· Adobe Suite
· Final Cut Pro
· Sony Vlog Camera ZV-1 II
· YoloBOX
· Podcaster inclusive of Rodecaster Pro II
· Podcast studio (April 2025)
· Windows and Apple Mac platforms and other top-end software
The successful candidate will:
· Be able to teach Media Studies across all key stages.
· Be actively supportive of the Catholic values and beliefs of St John Bosco College and to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school.
