Our end user client is looking for a Procurement Product Owner to review existing business procurement processes and to propose and implement improvements as part of a newly created team and programme of work.
Candidates must have strong Procurement/AP process knowledge, as well as experience of working in an Agile methodology and within an ERP implementation.
The role can be completed on a remote basis in the UK. Candidates must be able to work freely without requiring sponsorship.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Strong Procurement process knowledge (e.g. supplier selection, Accounts Payable, etc.)
* Previous experience of reviewing procurement processes and proposing and implementing improvements.
* Experience of working within Agile methodology.
* Experience of working with ERP products in relation to Procurement (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Dynamics365)
* Strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
* Partner with the business to help them develop the vision, their processes, data, governance etc. specifically around Procurement
* Backlog grooming, coordination between business and delivery. Prioritise, organise, and sequence the work, etc.
* Create high level design and map business needs to ERP capabilities
* Work with leadership to ensure product aligns with organisational properties and strategy
* Define and agree areas of focus and investment
