Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Officer in West London on a full time permanent basis with reputable College. This Accounts Receivable Officer role is paying up to £29, per annum.
The Accounts Receivable Officer will be helping process accurate records, income collection and be involved in the enrolment process of the college. It is a dynamic role within a great college.
Main Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Officer:
1. Process and issue sales invoices, ensuring correct coding, calculations, and VAT treatment in EBS and Aptos systems.
2. Handle all student-related invoices and send out official invoices via the EBS system.
3. Invoice for High Needs funding and employer contributions, update monitoring forms, and coordinate with relevant teams.
4. Allocate payments, follow debt collection procedures, and prepare aged debt reports for monthly reviews.
5. Ensure accurate reconciliation of records between EBS and Aptos, resolve queries, and liaise with auditors and internal teams.
Person Specification of the Accounts Receivable Officer:
6. Basic understanding of accounting principles.
7. Experience in general administrative and Accounts Receivable roles.
8. Familiarity with computerised accounting systems and automation procedures.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel at an intermediate level.
10. Strong communication skills and ability to resolve conflicts with staff or customers.
11. Experience with systems/databases and working on own initiative.
12. Effective team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
13. Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Willingness to travel to other College sites and work flexibly, including evenings and weekends during enrolment periods.
