Job title : Electrical Project Manager
Location : Cumbria
Day Rate: Dependant on experience (Outside IR35)
Contract Length: 6 Month Rolling Contract
Role:
An opportunity has come available for an Electrical Project Manager to work on a National Grid substation project, overseeing and managing the installation of LV electrical systems.
The ideal candidate will come from an electrical background and have strong knowledge across LV electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Managing the day-to-day working of the electrical team and supporting the site team in making decisions and providing direction that suits the project's targets in terms of safety, programme, and commercial control.
* Ensure deadlines and timescales are met on all electrical work packages.
* Liaising with the client, producing and presenting regular updates.
* Managing the strategic aspects of the project, mitigating risks whilst overseeing/coordinating the delivery team.
* Managing the programme and monitoring costs.
Essential Requirements:
* Strong knowledge across LV electrical systems.
* Proven experience managing electrical project teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
