Cache Level 3 Nursery Practitioner E1 £25,000-£26,600 PER YEAR
We are looking for an energetic and passionate Early Years Practitioner who can plan in the moment while working with our young learners. Enthusiasm and creativity are essential, as children are naturally curious and constantly exploring new things. We need practitioners who can nurture these interests, adapting to their needs to foster meaningful development and learning.
As an early year setting, we are open to exploring fresh ideas and innovative activities. Our ideal candidate should be able to engage with children’s natural curiosity while ensuring the effective delivery of the seven areas of learning within the EYFS framework. We strongly encourage creativity and welcome new, engaging approaches to enhance children’s learning experiences.
In addition to this, part of your role will include assisting with toilet training for some of our young learners, as well as supporting nappy changes when needed. From time to time, you may also be required to help with meal preparation—but rest assured, we provide Level 2 Food and Hygiene training for all our staff.
We are looking for a full time, Level 3 qualified Practitioner to join our Early Years setting.
Responsibilities:
1. Qualified Level 3 practitioners to be familiar with planning and implementing engaging activities for children aged between 9 months to 5 years.
2. Record children’s progress/achievements and reflect on learning practices.
3. Communicate to develop and maintain strong parent/carer partnerships.
4. Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and hygiene, as well as following all child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
5. Provide support to other nursery staff members and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Qualifications / Experience:
1. Full and Relevant Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification.
2. Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar).
3. Enthusiasm for making learning fun and engaging for each and every child.
4. Strong and effective communication skills with both children and adults.
5. Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the Early Years Framework.
Practitioners applying for this role must be willing to undergo child protection screening, as all new staff will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance, identity checks, qualification checks and employment checks to include an exploration of any gaps within employment, two satisfactory references and registration with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
