We are seeking an experienced Claims Manager to lead and manage a team of seven Commercial Claims Handlers. This role requires a strong leader with a background in commercial claims handling, capable of driving performance, improving processes, and ensuring excellent client service. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Oversee, mentor, and develop a team of Commercial Claims Handlers, ensuring high performance and professional development. Claims Management: Ensure all commercial claims are handled efficiently, fairly, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Performance Monitoring: Set objectives, track team performance, and implement improvement strategies where necessary. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve claims outcomes. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth claims resolution. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to FCA regulations and internal company policies, providing regular reports on claim trends and team performance. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven experience in a Claims Manager or Senior Commercial Claims Handler role. Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of claims professionals. A solid understanding of commercial insurance claims, including policy coverage, claims handling processes, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships. The ability to work under pressure, managing multiple claims and priorities effectively.
