Reporting to a well-tenured Finance Director, this represents a fantastic opportunity for a suitably qualified (will consider qualified / PQ / QBE) commercially focused accountant to join a growing business at an important point in its growth trajectory and lead on various commercial elements.
We are happy to consider qualified / part-qualified / QBE accountants provided the experience is relevant. We are also happy to consider first-movers from the profession from either Audit or Accounts Prep. My client is happy to provide study support, and alongside a competitive base salary, they offer hybrid working, a bonus, and a further benefits package. Ideally, we are seeking to engage with commercially focused accountants who have a robust track record of dealing with non-financial stakeholders.
This role will be the commercial teams' key finance business partner, providing analysis to drive actions and lead profit growth.
Responsibilities:
* Working with Commercial Teams on wholesale, contract catering, and retail supply contracts
* Partnering with the National Account Managers on Pricing / Margin information
* Analysing contract & client performance
* Influencing key stakeholders on commercial information and producing meaningful analysis to influence business decision-making
* Challenging stakeholders when required on Budget/Forecast information
* Improving Commercial Reporting and MI
* P+L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation
* Assisting with month-end processes and reporting, including Board Pack supporting documentation
* Customer rebate calculation and reconciliations
* Ad hoc reporting
