The Catering department provides staff, students, and visitors with quality food and beverages at various outlets across the site. We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused candidate to join the team as a Customer Service Assistant to assist with front-of-house duties. Other duties include washing up and general cleaning to keep our kitchen spotless.

Hours: 30 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis, Monday – Sunday with flexibility to meet business needs. All rotas are known in advance.
This is a term-time only appointment for 39 working weeks. Payment is for 44.65 weeks and includes the annual leave entitlement.
These daily hours may be varied this academic year; this will be discussed with you by the Catering Supervisor / Head Chef. Changes may also be required to working time in future academic years; these will be discussed with you at the time.
Salary: £15,324.01 per annum (£22,070 per annum, pro rata). This is the current National Living Wage and it will increase in line with the national annual increases.
Job Purpose: To undertake all front-of-house duties whilst assisting the Head Chef with ensuring the kitchen and surrounding areas are kept in a serviceable condition.
Status: Permanent and Term-time only
