A client based in Canterbury is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to work in a small team - This role offers hybrid working after six months, hours Monday to Friday 9am - 530pm. To apply for this role you must have previous basic accounts experience
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
To provide assistance to the Accounts Manager on aspects of the Canterbury Client Account.
Duties
* Bank Reconciliation
* Banking (Cardnet, Worldpay, Cash & Cheque)
* Input Contractor Invoices
* Payments of landlords and contractors
* Arrears Management
* Bank Reconciliation

o Prepare Landlords Statements
o Prepare Contractor Remittance Advice
o Register Deposits
SKILLS REQUIRED
* High standard of written and spoken English, especially grammar and spelling
* High level of concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail
* Self-motivated with a methodical and organised approach
* Able to effectively prioritise and multi-task
* Excellent people skills
* Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with peers, managers, clients, contractors etc.
