About the opportunity: We are working as the internal recruitment partner for our client, a global organisation offering excellence in supply chain solutions to the aerospace industry. As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be a key contributor to our financial planning and decision-making processes. You will work closely with senior management and other areas of the business to provide insightful analysis, create financial models, and deliver forecasts that guide our strategic initiatives. This role requires a curious and strategic thinker with a strong analytical background and a passion for driving financial performance. Responsibilities: Lead the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Provide actionable insights to improve performance. Prepare regular financial reports for stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial planning to support sustainable growth in line with business objectives. Support strategic decision-making by providing scenario analysis and financial modelling. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of financial planning and reporting. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in FP&A to bring innovative solutions to the team. Requirements The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a senior or similar role. Qualified Accountant would be an advantage or proven financial experience. Strong FP&A and commercial finance understanding. Knowledge of Power BI, SQL and Python would be an advantage. Advanced Excel skills and handling large datasets are essential. Demonstrable experience of identifying insights that have driven commercial value in a high-growth business. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Ability to Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency. A self-motivated individual with great attention to detail.
