The Recruitment Co. is currently recruiting for a Field Engineer (Fluid Monitoring Division) to join our client's growing team based in the Swansea area.

Salary: £30k plus overtime and overnight allowance
Hours of work: Full time. Hours will vary week to week due to this position being based in Swansea but covering UK & Europe. Successful candidates will be compensated for expenses, overnight allowances, company vehicle, and so on.
Flexibility and capability to travel is an essential component of this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Site Installs and Flushing: Calibration and Fluid Monitoring.
2. Lead effectively to ensure priorities are understood and met, issues are identified and addressed, and tenders/projects are managed and documented with the company's commercial interests at the forefront of your decisions.
3. Physically active and able to work in occasional inhospitable environments.
4. Sound Industrial Engineering Plumbing & Water treatment experience.
5. Understanding of chemical dosing.
6. Experience of project management (desirable but not essential).
7. Knowledge of BSRIA BG29 & BG50 guidance (will be supported by Senior Team as a learning requirement).
8. Familiar with HSE ACOP L8, specifically HSG274 Part 1, 2 & 3.
9. Base Knowledge of corrosion chemistry.
10. Strong communication skills.
11. Good teamwork and people management skills for working with colleagues and clients.
12. Problem-solving ability.
13. Ability to interpret technical reports and guidance requests.
14. IT knowledge and a willingness to learn new systems.
15. Self-motivation and a proactive approach to work.
16. Good time management skills.
17. A flexible approach to work and a willingness to take on new challenges.
18. A full clean driving licence.
Duties:
1. Travel to customer sites to complete site surveys as part of sales engineering works.
2. Action and complete scope of work and ensure that the project is completed to deadline.
3. Review and implement internal documentation control associated with FMS/FMP processes.
4. Supporting solutions within the Liquitherm FMS team.
5. Liaise with various bodies and individuals, including clients, contractors, suppliers, technical experts, and other consultants.
6. Support other project managers, sales engineers, department managers, and directors within the business and across the wider market.
7. Keep up to date with environmental matters and be aware of policy and developments in this area.
8. In-line with company expectations, professionally develop through accredited training schemes that add value to the role and FMS/FMP department.
