RAC are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Programme Manager looking for the next challenge. If you thrive in delivering large-scale Transformation & Change projects in a complex, fast-paced environment then we have an exciting opportunity for you About the Role Working within the Transformation, Digital & Technical Operations team, you will be directly responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of multiple high-profile, business-critical projects. These projects, often involving significant technical complexity and risk, will require you to lead across Technology, Process, Behaviour & Organisation dimensions. Your expertise will ensure the successful delivery of change that enables benefits realisation while contributing to the ongoing development of our team’s capabilities. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a portfolio of Transformation & Change projects, ensuring delivery against objectives, budgets, and timelines. Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including Project Sponsors, SMEs, Corporate Customers, Finance Business Partners, and third-party suppliers. Oversee project governance, ensuring adherence to the Stage Gate Process, including reporting, service introduction, and financial management. Effectively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Drive third-party supplier management, including onboarding new suppliers and ensuring alignment with project goals. Provide coaching and guidance to junior project managers, acting as a key point of escalation when needed. Apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, leveraging tools such as Jira and MS Project. What we’re Looking For Proven ability to manage multiple Transformation & Change projects, with budgets up to £1m. Strong track record of delivering operational improvements and substantial financial outcomes. Experience in E2E delivery of new Operating Models and Process re-engineering. A highly organised and pragmatic approach, with the ability to cut through complexity and identify creative solutions. Exceptional communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Resilient, tenacious, and able to challenge the status quo to drive meaningful change. Project Management accreditation (Agile, PRINCE2, APM) is desirable.
