Job Title : Public Liaison Officer Type: Contract (12 months) Location: Ipswich Rate: Flexible depending on experience Job Reference: BMPUBLIAIOFF I am looking for a proactive Public Liaison Officer / Wayleave Warden to support a dynamic infrastructure project in Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performing team helping deliver essential civil engineering works safely and efficiently. The Role: You will be a key point of contact between project teams, local authorities, and third-party stakeholders. You'll be responsible for arranging third-party consents and submitting formal applications in line with project timelines. This includes (but is not limited to): Coordinating road and footpath closures with local authorities Preparing and submitting planning applications for access routes Liaising directly with the project team, function leads, engineers, and foremen Attending every site alongside the Wayleave Officer to support ongoing works Engaging with local councils, landowners (Grantors), and stakeholders to gain access permissions What We're Looking For: We're seeking someone who: Speaks positively and encourages collaboration on-site and across teams Builds strong relationships and is confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels Is safety-focused, with a clear understanding of best practices on live civil engineering projects Essential Experience: Working knowledge of traffic management regulations Strong understanding of healthandsafety requirements Familiarity with civil engineering and excavation processes To discuss in more detail please call Billy Mitchell at Advance TRS, or apply directly.
