Electrical Power Systems Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our team at Northern Powergrid. As a key member of our Major Projects department, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of HV/EHV projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical power systems, particularly HV/EHV transmission networks. They will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions to improve network performance, reliability, and efficiency. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, planners, and project managers, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
The Electrical Power Systems Engineer will also play a key role in identifying and mitigating potential risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. They will be expected to communicate complex technical information to stakeholders, both internally and externally, promoting transparency and trust.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and development of innovative transmission network solutions to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
