We are looking for an Examinations Invigilator to join the team at MPW Cambridge to support our students through invigilation of internal and external exams.
Full training will be provided, including annual training before the summer exam sessions. The successful candidate will work closely with, and report to the Examinations Officer.
About The Role
You will:
* Invigilate external exam sessions such as GCSE and A Level, as well as internal exams which include mocks and the college’s weekly timed assignments
* Set up exam rooms during external exam sessions, and take responsibility for marketing up whiteboards, giving out exam papers and making sure that other essential materials are provided
* Remain calmly on duty ensuring the security of the eternal exams process and presenting a reassuring face to exam candidates and those taking college tests.
* Being responsible when securely-held exam papers are opened on the day of the exam.
* Being aware of the potential for malpractice in exams and the need to report it calmly and professionally.
About You
You have:
* GCSEs in both Maths and English
* Some knowledge of secondary schools and their day to day operation
* Attention to detail
* A well-organised and efficient approach
* A friendly and approachable manner
