The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Advisor to join our Architecture and Design team within the Property, Sustainability, and Capital Assets Division. This senior role involves providing expert architectural advice, leading key projects, and shaping national healthcare design standards.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the NHSScotland Design Assessment Process (NDAP) and Key Stage Assurance Reviews (KSAR)
* Developing and updating national guidance documents
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, infection control specialists, and sustainability experts
About You:
An understanding of healthcare design and technical issues is a key requirement for the role. Potential candidates should have an understanding of the role and work of Assure and Property, Sustainability and Capital Planning.
You will have:
* Expertise in healthcare design and technical regulations
* Experience working within architecture, sustainability, or capital planning
* Strong collaboration skills to work with professionals across NHSScotland
* Hybrid working from Edinburgh, Glasgow, or other NSS locations
* The work pattern for this post is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
